 Cammino di Quaresima...
 
 
Il periodo di digiuno e preghiera che va dal 'mercoledì delle ceneri' alla Pasqua è, secondo Benedetto XVI, "un tempo di particolare impegno nel combattimento spirituale che ci oppone al male presente nel mondo, in ognuno di noi e intorno a noi". Ciò significa "guardare il male in faccia e disporsi a lottare contro i suoi effetti, soprattutto contro le sue cause, fino alla causa ultima, che è Satana".
"Significa - ha proseguito Benedetto XVI - non scaricare il problema del male sugli altri, sulla società o su Dio, ma riconoscere le proprie responsabilità e farsene carico consapevolmente".
Entrare in Quaresima, nelle parole del papa significa pertanto “rinnovare la decisione personale e comunitaria di affrontare il male insieme con Cristo. La via della croce è infatti l’unica che conduce alla vittoria dell’amore sull’odio, della condivisione sull’egoismo, della pace sulla violenza”.
Insomma, un invito a combattere l’odio con l’amore e ad accogliere l’inaudito, come “l’invito di Maria che fa eco a quello di Cristo”. Occorre chiedere a Maria di ottenerci di ‘entrare’ con fede nella Quaresima, per vivere questo tempo di grazia con gioia interiore e generoso impegno”.
Se l’accoglienza di tali figure religiose, figure con un “cuore”,  può essere utile a crescere in umanità e a sperare ancora, nonostante tutto, che non sia la morte ad avere l’ultima parola, perché no ?
